Ashley Acton is a Colorado based photographer who specializes in black and white children’s portraiture and fine art photography. She is affiliated with the National Children’s Portrait Photographers Guild, the Society of Professional Journalists and other professional organizations. Her work has been shown in Arizona and in Colorado at various art galleries and other venues. Currently, Ashley is a masters candidate in the journalism program at the University of Colorado, Boulder. "I'm learning how to combine my knowledge of still photography with writing and video to produce multimedia documentaries," said Ashley. "Which is something I've always wanted to learn how to do."
